What Are the 369 Gates? Your Name, Birth Date and Personal Sijil
The 369 Gates is a numerological interpretation method created by Seromi at Academy Saroumi. It brings your first name, surname and full birth date into one specially designed chart, together with a personal symbolic seal called a Sijil.
The method’s Swedish name is 369-portarna. This English introduction explains what the chart includes, how it is used and what to expect from a reading.
What is numerology?
Numerology assigns symbolic meanings to numbers. Some approaches work with dates of birth; others use systems that associate letters in a name with numbers. People may explore these interpretations out of curiosity or use them as prompts for personal reflection.
The 369 Gates is presented as a symbolic practice. Its interpretations are not established scientific measurements of personality or predictions of a person’s future.
How does Seromi’s 369 chart work?
The method brings together three sources of information: your full birth date, your first name and your surname. Seromi places these within her chart and interprets the relationships between them.
The focus is the combined structure. A reading gives you time to explore the chart’s themes, consider how they relate to your experiences and ask questions about the interpretation.
What do 3, 6 and 9 represent?
The numbers 3, 6 and 9 provide the organising structure of Seromi’s method. They function as symbolic reference points within her chart.
The published introduction does not set out a universal meaning for each number or a complete calculation formula. The specific interpretation is explained in relation to the individual chart during the reading.
Why include both your first name and surname?
A name can carry personal associations with family, culture and belonging. Including both parts of a name gives Seromi’s method material for exploring these aspects of a person’s story alongside the birth date.
For example, you might reflect on which associations with your name feel meaningful today, or how your understanding of your identity has changed. These are questions for you to explore; the chart does not decide the answers.
What is a personal Sijil?
In this method, a Sijil is an individual symbolic seal connected to the numerology chart. It is presented with an explanation of its symbolism and relationship to the reading.
The Sijil adds a visual point of reference. You can consider its meaning alongside the words and themes discussed in your session.
Using the reading for reflection
It can help to bring a question to the session. For example:
- Which parts of my personal story do I want to understand differently?
- What recurring themes do I notice in my choices?
- How would I like to respond to a change in my life?
- Which interpretations feel relevant, and which do not?
These questions invite your own judgement. You can explore an interpretation without treating it as a fixed description of who you are.
Who created the method?
Seromi, founder of Academy Saroumi, developed The 369 Gates as her own approach to numerological and symbolic interpretation. The method combines a personal chart with an individual Sijil and a guided explanation.
The reading is a symbolic experience and does not constitute a psychological assessment or therapeutic diagnosis.
